Caitlin commencing work

Meet Caitlin. She’s three years old, and besides being irresistibly cute, she’s smart, because she’s already in love with the ocean.

For a recent school project, she painted a beautiful picture of a fish in the sea, with only a little bit of help from her mom Kaylin, who took a short break from monitoring news stories for our Twitter feed to oversee this budding young artist’s creative endeavour.

Perhaps it’s the power of the internet, or perhaps (as we hope), there are a lot of concerned and involved parents out there…but we’ve been hearing a lot about children and their involvement with marine issues lately. If you have any more stories about kids and the sea that you’d like to share, please let us know!

And Caitlin…from the entire FiNS Team….we love your painting, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of your work!!!
